About the Skin Care Center

At The Runnels Skin Care Center (named simply “SKIN”), we offer everything from luxurious spa treatments, facials, and chemical peels to microdermabrasion, Botox, and Juvéderm. In addition to these cosmetic services, we provide skin cancer screenings and mole removal. Dr. Runnels specializes in the sensitive process of minimizing damage from skin cancer removal. And for your comfort and convenience, SKIN has a private entrance and front door parking.

Facials

Bare Fruit Enzyme treatment

This treatment facial delivers natural fruit enzymes from the papaya fruit. The enzymes gently dissolve dry, flaky aged skin to re-surface texture, improve tone and color, and reveal smooth, soft skin beneath. The soothing and wound healing benefits of Comfrey and Calendula, along with the moisturizing properties of Chamomile and Glycerin aid the skin in its natural healing process to plump up and calm sensitive, oily or acne prone skin.

Fresh start Oxygen Infusion

An awakening of the skin! Lactic Acid, Green Tea fused with oxygen boost the skin’s ability to protect and repair itself while vitamin B, and E re-hydrate and plump skin. A vital C cream is combined promoting lightened and brightened skin. A true anti-aging treatment.

Organic Silk Hydrating facial

Healing organic botanicals, Oat, Squalene, Hemp, Soy, Jojoba, and Comfrey soften and hydrate tired, dry skin. This luxurious treatment is rich in vitamins and nutrients to soothe environmental (dry, windy, pollution) damaged skin. Natural almond and honey pump life into dull, dehydrated skin.

Pumpkin Peel Deep and Clear

A delicious cleansing and exfoliating experience utilizing the benefits of Lactic Acid and Salicylic Acid. A pleasant aroma of botanicals include Pumpkin, Oat, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Vanilla. The ultra concentrated bio-actives are delivered to enhance penetration. Recommended as a deep cleansing for blackhead and occlusions without any physical abrasiveness. This facial is also recommended for anti-aging resurfacing treatments to improve skin color, texture and tone.

Antioxidant and Cool Copper Peptide

A refreshing delivery of Copper Peptides and mint. This treatment facial is loaded with antioxidants and vitamins A (retinol)C and E. Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5 are hydrating and plumping agents. Botanical emollients include Chamomile, Cucumber, Olive Squalene, for a cooling recharge. Excellent for mature, dull, or colorless complexions.

Customized Treatment Facial

This facial targets the specific skin conditions of the individual. The aesthetician will hand pick products that will cater to the needs of your skin, such as hyperpigmentation, dehydration, acne, or sun damaged skin. Body Treatments/Massage

Exfoliating Back Polish

This back treatment is founded on the rich heritage of aromatherapy. The treatment starts with a stress less lavender and chamomile wash, proceeds on with an exfoliating scrub, and better body butter featuring white tea, pomegranate, and fig. A detoxifying Southwest Mud mask is applied along with a variety of massage technique to improve circulation. Relax and unwind with this elite and luxurious aromatherapy experience.

Hot Stone Back

A deep cleansing and exfoliating adventure, with the proven therapeutic properties of hot stones. Aromas of Lemongrass and Lavender are sure to induce a relaxed state of pure bliss. Massage is applied with the hot stones to sooth muscle tension, and encourage the removal of cellular waste from the tissues.

Cold Stone Back

This treatment is a real refresher from the Mississippi sun. Aromas of Lime and Sweet Orange promote harmony in the soul. The use of cold stones and variety of massage technique will soothe aching and tired muscles. Scrubs, masks, and creams fused with citrus aromatherapy promote tranquility. Back Treatment Facial

This treatment is a customized back facial that targets specific individual concerns, such as acne, or excessive oil secretion. The skin care specialist will hand pick products to treat the various conditions experienced by the individual. All the while, enjoying the benefits of aromatherapy and massage.

Resurface Treatments

Diamond Dermabrasion

This is a creative improvement of the micro-crystal dermabrasion. The Diamond Dermabrasion is a non-surgical skin refinish procedure, by using sterile diamond heads to abrade the top layer of skin, then vacuums particles along with any dirt and dead skin build-up. Diamond Dermabrasion removes skin debris, imperfections, blemishes, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Receiving regular diamond treatments will increase product penetration, replenish natural nutrients, restore cell activity, and promote overall skin health. Super Skin Scrubber

Salicylic Acid and Mints, recommended for acne, oily and mature skin types.

Bio-Amino Peel

Glycolic Acid and Amino Acids, recommended for extra dry and/or mature skin types.

Genesis Peel

Non-acid peel, proprietary regeneration complex (retinol, regeneration peptides, DHEA youth peptides, and vitamin C) Great starter peel, very low sting sensation, recommended for all skin types including sensitive and rosacea.

Go Spot Go Peel

ultra-concentrated with organic botanicals and natural lightening agents. Delivery of a tri-phase acid complex (Kojic, Azelaic, and Glycolic Acid) and Ascorbic Acid to bio-target uneven skin tone, color and hyperpigmentation. Also recommended for anti-aging.

Saving Face Rosacea Peel

Azelaic Acid gently dissolves dry, rough, bumpy spots, while anti-inflammatory agents (cucumber, sea algae, chamomile, allantoin) soothe skin. Skin is left smooth and even textured. Recommended for rosacea.

White Out Peel

Illuminize Peel

Obagi Blue Peel
