About the Outpatient Surgery Center

Not so with the Runnels Center! Our Outpatient Surgery Center is conveniently located adjacent to our Office and Clinic, but separate from a hospital or larger group setting. All procedures, from body contouring and breast enhancement to reconstructive surgery and facelifts, are performed in the Outpatient Surgery Center.

Our certified, state-of-the-art, custom-designed surgery center provides all the technology of a hospital setting with the assurance of quality control that a dedicated facility can provide.

Our surgery center is an accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center. It features two surgery suites, four recovery beds, and its own entrance and waiting area. Patient confidentiality is of the utmost importance, and the Runnels Center allows for privacy and easy access you won’t find in a traditional hospital or large plastic surgery group setting.

With today’s technology, anesthesia, and pain control, less invasive procedures are routinely performed as outpatient surgeries. Appropriate procedures for outpatient surgery are those with post-operative care that is easily managed at home. As a result, cosmetic procedures are commonly performed as outpatient surgeries.

The Runnels Center is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from River Oaks Hospital, the airport and major thoroughfares of I-55 and I-20 in Jackson, Mississippi. The Runnels Center provides transportation service from the airport for out-of-town patients and overnight accommodations where private duty nurses are available. And the Offices and Clinic, Outpatient Surgery Center, and SKIN center share a common location with separate entrances for confidentiality and comfort.
